Please read through all of the information below and then register your Learn to Skate skater!
This year marks our first ever attempt at story-telling in our show. We will build the narrative with group numbers and solos based on scenes from Lewis Carroll’s book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. It will be our own interpretation of the events in this book, and a few from Through the Looking Glass. We will have scenery, costumes and props! It will be a very special show.
Eligibility Requirements
Any skater who has participated in a Missoula Figure Skating Club Learn to Skate program during the 2021-2022 season or any skater who is a MFSC Club member who has not yet passed their Pre-Preliminary Moves in the Field test, is eligible to participate in the Learn to Skate numbers. For example, if you are a Basic 5 level Club member that does not participate in the Learn to Skate program, but does skate on Club Ice, you may participate in the group at your skating level. Please see below for more information on eligibility according to the skater’s skating level.
Learn to Skate skaters should sign up for the following numbers based on the level they are currently enrolled in or the level they were in during their last class taken. For Example: If a skater is signed up for Basic 4 level for Spring session, they should sign up for the Basic 4+ Group. If a skater is not signed up for Spring Session, they should enroll at the level of their last class taken, even if they passed that level. i.e. skater passed Basic 1 during Winter Session 2 but is not currently enrolled for Spring, they should sign up for Basic 1-3 Group.
